Making the Cut: Hands-on Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on understanding the art and science of pruning your fruit trees. You will learn the essential why, when and how of fruit tree pruning to encourage healthy trees and improve fruit yield. We will discuss best pruning practices for different kinds of fruit trees, including young vs. mature trees. This is ideal for home fruit growers. After a classroom portion, we'll practice these skills in the Campus Garden. BYO tools (e.g. loppers, hand saws, hand pruners).
