The School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education seeks a/n Marketing Specialist.
The Marketing Specialist provides marketing support for the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education, adult and non-traditional student initiatives and non credit offerings. These include designing and implementing marketing strategies in line with the campus' overall brand strategy to recruit new graduate students and to increase applications and matriculation from non-traditional student populations including adults, non-completers and veterans.
The Marketing Specialist will conduct market research, design and implement digital advertising campaigns in conjunction with University Marketing and Media Relations, and provide analytics to evaluate those efforts. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating Graduate Studies and adult program websites, maintaining and updating social media platforms, and developing new media content for all of these platforms.
The Marketing Specialist will help to create and manage marketing campaigns and will meet with colleagues and staff to manage these projects. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will cooperate with other campus offices to disseminate information about the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. The Marketing Specialist will report to and work under the guidelines of the Instructional Technology and Web Support Specialist.

-A bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.

-Demonstrates a creative approach to idea generation, strategy development, and execution.
-Experience in digital marketing strategy and tactics.
-Experience managing social media accounts.
-Project management experience.
-Develop and implement digital media campaigns
-Update and maintain SGSCE digital media
-Coordinate SGSCE media initiatives with other campus units
-Assist Director of Technology and Information in the execution of a comprehensive Marketing plan for the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education
-Work with Credit Outreach and non-Credit Outreach program coordinators to design marketing campaigns for their programs.
-Provide analytics regarding marketing campaigns' response rate and return on investment
-Analyze market data to provide insight and make actionable recommendations
-Will be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations including necessary training and drills.
The School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education (SGSCE) is responsible for programming in nine areas—Graduate Studies, Credit Outreach, Adult Student Programming and Support, Summer Session, Winterim, Continuing Education Services (or Camps and Conferences), LEARN Center, and Domestic Travel Study—and employs the equivalent of 18.75 full-time university staff and unclassified staff with an operational budget of $7.40 million, that served more than 28,500 constituents in FY 15-16.
